Touch the Sky(2021)

Touch the Sky follows Miguel, a 26-year-old disabled man living in a small Mexican town under his mother's watchful care. Isolated from the wider world, Miguel's sheltered existence begins to shift when he develops feelings for the town's most beautiful woman. As he pursues this connection, he confronts the real price of her independence and, more importantly, his own. The film explores themes of autonomy, desire, and the invisible walls that confine us—whether built by others or ourselves. Miguel's journey becomes a tender yet unflinching examination of what it means to break free from protection that has become a prison, and to claim agency in a life lived on the margins.
