The Fireman's Nemesis(1917)

The Fireman's Nemesis is a silent film about Joe, a railroad worker promoted to fireman on the local freight. Shot by Scarlotta, a vendetta assassin, Joe survives thanks to Helen, the station operator, who pulls him from the tracks before an oncoming train strikes him. That night, Joe reports for duty despite his wound. Determined to finish the job, Scarlotta returns to the station, binds Helen, locks her in a closet, and throws a switch to send the freight train hurtling toward the cars on the siding. Joe must race against time to prevent catastrophe and stop his relentless pursuer.
