Cossack is a Russian drama following Timothy Petrov, newly elected ataman of a Cossack village. When a St. Petersburg businessman pressures him to sell sacred land for a factory—land the community wants for a church—Petrov faces his first test of leadership. The conflict intensifies when his daughter Katya, a folk singer in the city, is brutally kidnapped and left for dead. Racing to St. Petersburg, Petrov finds her barely alive and hospitalized. Consumed by rage, the ataman abandons diplomacy and pursues vengeance against those responsible, willing to risk everything—his honor, his position, his life—to protect his family and defend Cossack tradition.
