Bisu is a Malaysian drama about regret and redemption. Nazim carries deep remorse for never performing umrah with his mother before her death. Determined to honor her memory, he searches for a worthy recipient of an umrah package—a pilgrimage he can no longer share with her. His quest leads him to Mak Nong, a silent beggar whose quiet dignity and unspoken struggles capture his attention. As Nazim attempts to gift this sacred journey to a stranger, he discovers unexpected truths about faith, compassion, and what it truly means to honor those we've lost. The film explores themes of atonement and human connection across social divides, set against the backdrop of Malaysian society and Islamic tradition.
