In the game of life, we're all on the same team.

Interchange is an Australian drama that weaves together the lives of strangers connected by sport and circumstance. Iraqi immigrant Samir must choose which AFL team to support while his cabbie colleague Michael pushes him toward the Magpies. Elsewhere, young Philip endures bullying from Shaun, unaware they share a hidden bond. Philip's mother Lisa brings her cancer-stricken sister Beth to watch their beloved Saints play. As these separate stories intersect, the film explores how football and community can unite people across divides, suggesting that despite our differences, we're all ultimately on the same team in life's larger game.
