Jayam(2002)

Jayam is a Telugu romantic drama set in a village where childhood cousins Sujatha and Raghu are betrothed by their families. As children, Sujatha receives anklets from her uncle—a symbol of their promised union. But when Raghu's violent behavior and petty crimes surface, his family relocates, severing their bond. Years later, Sujatha has blossomed into a college student, while Raghu has become a troublemaker. On her way to campus, Sujatha encounters Venkat, a charming but poor boy with genuine warmth. Their initial friction transforms into love, setting up a collision between her destined past and her chosen future.
