Samuel Browne is an Alaskan tracker who travels to San Francisco after his sister is murdered. Working alongside reluctant police investigator Buckley Clarke, he pursues the killer as a series of brutal murders unfolds across the city. While the department assumes they're dealing with a random serial killer, Sam and Buckley uncover a chilling pattern: all victims work in neonatal intensive care. Their investigation reveals a deeply personal motive rooted in a fateful decision made years earlier—one that has driven the killer to exact a twisted form of justice.
