Petulia is a 1968 drama following Dr. Archie Bollen, a recently divorced physician navigating midlife uncertainty. When he meets the vivacious Petulia Danner at a San Francisco party, attraction blooms quickly. But Petulia's carefree charm masks a darker reality: she's trapped in an abusive marriage to David, whose wealthy, influential family holds her captive. As their connection deepens, Archie and Petulia face an impossible choice between desire and the consequences of breaking free.
