Roach is a horror-love story set in Tel Aviv as nuclear war looms. Penny, a lonely young woman trapped in her apartment, cycles between screens, news feeds, eating, and sleep. Her mysterious and reclusive neighbor Izzy watches her from outside, drawn to her isolation. What begins as voyeurism transforms into an unsettling connection between two damaged people living on the edge of catastrophe. The film blends intimate character study with apocalyptic dread, exploring how fear and loneliness can bind two strangers together in the darkest ways. As the threat of nuclear annihilation grows closer, their relationship deepens into something neither can escape—a twisted romance born from desperation and surveillance.
