Santa(1932)

Santa is a 1930s Mexican drama following a humble young woman from the rural village of Chimalistac, south of Mexico City. After a soldier seduces and abandons her, Santa is cast out by her family and community. She drifts into Mexico City's underworld, finding work in a brothel where hardship transforms her into a cynical, embittered woman.
