The Count(1916)

The Count is a silent comedy about mistaken identity and chaos. When a tailor's apprentice accidentally burns Count Broko's clothes, he's fired on the spot. The tailor then discovers a note from the count canceling his attendance at an upcoming dance party. Seizing the opportunity, the tailor dresses in the count's finest clothes and heads to the mansion to impersonate him. But the apprentice, desperate to salvage his reputation, has also made his way to the party. When the two collide in disguise, confusion and hilarity ensue as neither recognizes the other, and the evening spirals into comedic mayhem.
