Utz(1992)

Utz is a literary drama following a New York antique dealer who travels to Prague to acquire the prized porcelain collection of the deceased Baron Utz. When he arrives, he discovers the collection has vanished, setting him on an unexpected path through the baron's mysterious past. Adapted from Bruce Chatwin's novel by Hugh Whitemore, the film explores obsession, art, and the secrets that bind a man to his possessions. As the dealer investigates the missing heirlooms, he uncovers the strange circumstances of the baron's life and death, becoming drawn into a world far more complex than a simple transaction.
