The Time Tunnel(1966)

The Time Tunnel is a 1966–1967 science fiction series that follows two scientists trapped in a vast underground machine, hurtling through history with no way home. Each episode sends them to a different moment in time—from the Titanic's final hours to the American Civil War—where they must survive and find a way back to the present. Creator Irwin Allen's third sci-fi venture for ABC, the show blends adventure, suspense, and period drama across 30 episodes. The colorful production design and imaginative time-travel scenarios made it a cult favorite, though it lasted just one season. Decades later, a 2002 pilot attempted to revive the concept, but failed to gain traction.
