Aikatsu Planet!(2021)

Aikatsu Planet! is a hybrid live-action and anime series set in a digital world where anyone can become an idol through customizable avatars. The story follows school-aged characters pursuing stardom while balancing everyday life. Real-world scenes are filmed in live-action, while the Aikatsu Planet universe is rendered in anime and 3DCG. The live-action cast members perform together as the unit STARRY PLANET*, appearing at live events and on YouTube. The series ties into a new Data Carddass arcade game that launched alongside the show, continuing the franchise's tradition of blending television with interactive collectible gameplay.
