Bare Essence(1983)

Bare Essence is an American soap opera that aired on NBC during the 1982–1983 season. The series follows Tyger Hayes as she fights to build a career in the cutthroat world of high-end perfume. When her new husband Chase dies in a racing accident, his father Hadden refuses to support her ambitions at the family business, Kellico. Encouraged by Hadden's sister Margaret, Tyger pursues her own fragrance line—a move that threatens the position of Hadden's other son, Marcus. Ava, Marcus's mother, schemes to sabotage Tyger at every turn, eventually seducing and marrying Hadden herself. Meanwhile, Tyger's mother Lady Bobbi Rowan becomes entangled with a Greek millionaire bent on revenge against the Marshall family, adding another layer of conflict to Tyger's struggle for success.
