McHale's Navy(1962)

McHale's Navy is a World War II comedy series following Lieutenant Commander Quinton McHale, a seasoned sailor assigned to command PT Boat 73 at a U.S. naval base on the island of Taratupa in the Southwest Pacific. McHale leads an unconventional crew of misfits: a con artist and amateur magician, a charming womanizer, a devoted family man, a moonshine-making Tennessee native, and a former Japanese Navy deserter who serves as the ship's cook.
