Tej El Hadhra is a historical series set during the final years of Ahmad Bey I's reign in Tunisia (1837–1855). The show chronicles the ambitious reforms undertaken by the ruler and his vizier Khairuddin Pasha as they attempt to modernize the nation while navigating mounting political, financial, and social crises. Against a backdrop of Ottoman decline and European pressure, the series explores the personal and institutional struggles that defined a pivotal era in Tunisian history.
