Love Script(2020)

Love Script is a Chinese drama that explores the unlikely connection between a wealthy man lost in delusion and the therapist determined to help him. Zhu Xuanwen lives as though he is Emperor Jianwen of the Ming Dynasty, ruling over an elaborate fantasy world he's constructed. When mental health professional Luo Kaihuai accepts his case, she enters his eccentric "imperial court" and confronts his stubborn convictions. As she works to break through his delusions, Luo Kaihuai discovers there's a complex, intelligent person beneath the emperor's robes. Their relationship becomes a slow-burn exploration of vulnerability, acceptance, and what it means to truly see another person. The series balances humor with genuine emotion, charting how two people from different worlds find understanding in the most unexpected circumstances.
