Despite her determination to build an artistic career, she finds herself working in a neighbourhood flower shop, her creative dreams deferred by circumstance. As María navigates the gap between who she wanted to become and her present life, the series explores themes of unfulfilled potential, resilience, and the quiet struggles of ordinary people in contemporary Madrid. The show captures the texture of everyday disappointment and the small moments that define a life lived sideways from its intended path.
