RE-MAIN is an anime series about Minato, a former water polo player haunted by a traumatic incident during his third year of middle school. When he enters high school, Minato decides to return to the sport he abandoned, joining a newly formed team determined to compete. The inexperienced squad faces mounting obstacles as they train and prepare for competition, forcing Minato and his teammates to confront their individual struggles while rebuilding their confidence in the water. The series explores themes of redemption, teamwork, and overcoming past failures through the intensity and discipline of competitive athletics.
