Rumble Garanndoll(2021)

Rumble Garanndoll is a Japanese anime series set in 2019, on the eve of a new imperial era. When a dimensional rift tears open in the sky, an alternate Japan emerges—one frozen in eternal militarism, with inverted geography and reversed gravity. This parallel nation, "Shinkoku Nippon," launches an invasion using colossal humanoid robots called GARANN and a devastating gas weapon called GENMU. Modern defenses prove useless against the assault. Within days, the alternate military seizes control of Japan, preventing the arrival of the promised Reiwa era. The series follows the resistance and survival efforts as Japan grapples with occupation by its own militaristic counterpart.
