Téléfrançais is a French-language children's series produced by TVOntario between 1984 and 1986. The show consists of 30 ten-minute episodes that follow Jacques and Sophie, two young adventurers, alongside Ananas—a talking pineapple living in a junkyard. Supporting characters include Pilote, Ginette, Monsieur Pourquoi, and Les Squelettes, a comedic skeletal musical group. Created by Ken Sobol and directed by David Moore, the series was designed as an engaging tool for teaching French as a second language to elementary and middle school students. Its catchy theme song and musical numbers, composed by Bruce Ley and Jed MacKay, became memorable fixtures of the show.
