The Heike Story is an anime series set in 12th-century Japan, following Biwa, a young orphan with extraordinary psychic abilities who is adopted by the powerful Taira Clan. When the clan's leader recognizes her gift, he brings her into their fold—but Biwa's visions reveal a devastating future of bloodshed and civil war that will consume the Heike. Based on the classic epic Heike Monogatari, the series weaves historical tragedy with supernatural elements as Biwa struggles with the burden of her foresight while caught between her newfound family and the catastrophic fate she cannot prevent.
