Rooftop Makgeolli(2018)

Rooftop Makgeolli is a South Korean reality series following five celebrities as they attempt to brew makgeolli, a traditional rice wine, on a rooftop. Despite their passion for the drink, none have serious brewing experience, and they quickly discover the craft's complexity. As rice, water, and nuruk ferment into wine, the group bonds over their shared struggle, sharing meals, conversation, and live music while waiting for their batches to mature. The show balances comedy with genuine camaraderie, capturing the meditative pleasure of slow food culture and handmade craft.
