Wonder Showzen(2005)
Wonder Showzen is an American sketch comedy series that aired on MTV2 from 2005 to 2006. Created by John Lee and Vernon Chatman of PFFR, the show mimics the format of educational children's programs like Sesame Street and The Electric Company, then subverts it with adult-oriented black comedy. Each episode opens with a disclaimer warning that the content is offensive and too controversial for actual children, accompanied by someone screaming "Don't eat my baby!" Wonder Showzen takes aim at politics, religion, war, sex, and culture through provocative satire and dark humor. The series is rated TV-MA and pulls no punches in its willingness to offend, making it a deliberately irreverent parody of wholesome edutainment that challenges viewers' comfort zones.
