Second Thoughts(1991)

Second Thoughts is a British sitcom that aired on ITV from 1991 to 1994, following Bill MacGregor and Faith Greyshott, two middle-aged divorcees from different worlds who attempt to build a relationship despite mounting obstacles. Created by husband-and-wife writers Jan Etherington and Gavin Petrie and based on their own romance, the show originated as a BBC Radio 4 series before transferring to television. The radio run produced four series and a Christmas special between 1988 and 1992, with the TV adaptation drawing directly from those scripts. The fifth and final television series departed from the radio material and proved less successful than its predecessors. Second Thoughts spawned a sequel, Faith in the Future, and has since been repeated on ITV3, while the original radio episodes continue to air on BBC7.
