The Mask(2021)

The Mask is a Chinese crime series following criminal police investigator Ji Fan as he joins forces with Captain Xiong Zhen Nan and forensic doctor Zhao Qing Yan to hunt a serial killer terrorizing Linghai. The investigation takes a personal turn when Ji Fan discovers the killer may be connected to his own life, unraveling a cold case from 27 years prior that implicates his family members, including his brother Ji Ping. As the task force closes in, Ji Fan must confront the possibility that the person he's hunting has ties to those closest to him, blurring the line between professional duty and family loyalty. The case spirals into dangerous territory as past secrets surface and present threats converge.
