Sunday Best is a gospel singing competition series on BET that searches for undiscovered vocal talent across America. Hosted by Kirk Franklin with mentor Kim Burrell, the show pairs contestants against each other in weekly eliminations until a winner emerges. The judging panel includes gospel singers Yolanda Adams, CeCe Winans, and Donnie McClurkin, with past hosts including Mary Mary and Bebe Winans. The competition's grand prize includes a national recording contract, a new car, and a cash award that benefits the winner's community. The series has launched the careers of multiple artists beyond its title winner—season one runner-up Shari Addison and season two runner-up Jessica Reedy both secured recording deals.
