Fascinação(1998)

Fascinação is a Brazilian telenovela that aired on SBT from May to November 1998. Written by Walcyr Carrasco, the series follows Ana Clara Guimarães, an intelligent milkman's daughter in 1930s Brazil who falls in love with wealthy Carlos Eduardo da Silva Prates. Their romance faces fierce opposition from Carlos Eduardo's scheming mother, Melânia, who will stop at nothing to keep them apart. After a series of cruel betrayals leave Ana Clara pregnant and abandoned, she must rebuild her life from nothing, fighting through heartbreak and injustice to reclaim her happiness.
