Caruso, the voice of love
Caruso, the Voice of Love is an Italian television miniseries that dramatizes the life of legendary tenor Enrico Caruso. The story centers on his turbulent personal relationships, particularly his involvement with Florentine sisters Rina and Ada Giachetti, with whom he fathered two sons, Rodolfo and Enrico Jr. The narrative also explores his marriage to young American Dorothy Benjamin and their daughter Gloria. Broadcast on Rai 1 in September 2012, the miniseries examines the contrasts between Caruso's romantic entanglements and the emotional toll they took on those closest to him. Produced by Claudia Mori for Hi Guys, the film captures both the grandeur of the opera world and the private struggles behind one of history's most celebrated voices.
