Courting Alex(2006)

Courting Alex is an American sitcom that aired on CBS for three months in early 2006, starring Jenna Elfman as a successful single attorney navigating romance in the city. Alex Rose works alongside her father at his law firm, where he pushes her toward Stephen, an ambitious colleague who's keen on her. But Alex is drawn to Scott, a tavern owner she meets early on—a choice her father firmly opposes.
