Five Fingers(1959)

Five Fingers is an NBC adventure drama series set in Cold War Europe, loosely adapted from the 1952 film of the same name. The show follows Victor Sebastian, an American counterintelligence officer operating under the code name "Five Fingers," played by David Hedison. Sebastian poses as a Communist to infiltrate party activities while maintaining a public cover as a theatrical booking agent across European clubs and cafes. Luciana Paluzzi co-stars as Simone Genet, his secretary and romantic interest, with Paul Burke as Robertson, his contact man. The series draws inspiration from Operation Cicero and the memoirs of real-life spy Elyesa Bazna, though it reimagines the historical mercenary as a heroic American operative. Five Fingers aired on NBC from October 1959 to January 1960.
