Yanks Go Home(1976)

Yanks Go Home is a British sitcom set during the Second World War, following U.S. Army Air Force personnel stationed in Lancashire, England. Produced and directed by Eric Prytherch for Granada Television, the series aired on ITV from 1976 to 1977. The show explores the cultural clash and comedic misunderstandings that arise when American servicemen interact with their British hosts. With its period setting and fish-out-of-water premise, Yanks Go Home captures the lighter side of wartime life on the home front. The series ran for two seasons totalling thirteen episodes before concluding.
