The Greatest American Hero(1981)
The Greatest American Hero is a comedy series following Ralph Hinkley, a high school teacher who receives a mysterious red suit from aliens that grants him superhuman powers. Desperate to help others, Ralph accepts the gift—but immediately loses the instruction manual, forcing him to discover how to use his extraordinary abilities through trial and error. Caught between his reluctance to become a superhero and the suit's incredible potential, Ralph stumbles through increasingly absurd situations as he learns to master flight, strength, and other powers. The show balances action and humor as Ralph navigates the gap between his ordinary life as an educator and his unexpected role as Earth's unlikely defender, all while winging it with no guidance.
