L'Incendie is an Algerian drama series set in 1939 eastern Algeria, following ten-year-old Omar and his mother Aïni as they navigate poverty and survival in Dar Sbitar, a crowded shared house. After Omar's father's death, Aïni works tirelessly to keep her children and elderly mother fed. The ten-episode series captures the intimate lives of multiple families living under one roof, their daily struggles and bonds forming the emotional core of the story.
