SWWW(2022)

SWWW is a Russian drama series set in Rostov-on-Don's working-class Southwest district, where territorial rivalries and criminal enterprise define daily life. Ravil, an ambitious young programmer, dreams of emigrating to America to pursue his passion for coding. While working as a courier and waiting for a grant, he's drawn toward quick money through crime, hoping to fund his escape and impress Or, a woman from the city's wealthier side. As Ravil navigates between legitimate ambition and criminal temptation, he discovers that shortcuts come with steep consequences. The series explores how desperation, class divisions, and romantic desire can push a talented young man toward a dangerous path in a gritty provincial Russian setting.
