Jungle Kurobee(1973)

Jungle Kurobee is a series following Urobe, the son of a great African chief, who accidentally stows away on a plane to Japan. Weakened by cold and hunger, he collapses in Shishio's yard and is nursed back to health. Grateful for the kindness, Urobe—known as Kurobe—devises an unusual way to repay his debt: he digs a massive hole in the yard and commits to filling it with stones, one for each act of gratitude. The series chronicles his earnest, quirky attempts to honor his obligation through this peculiar ritual, blending fish-out-of-water comedy with themes of cultural exchange and genuine friendship between two unlikely companions.
