Tonde Mon Pe(1982)

Tonde Mon Pe is a Japanese animated series following Mon-Mon, a fifteen-year-old country girl who takes a job as an au pair for renowned fashion designer Mrs. Kano and her family. Mon-Mon dreams of becoming a designer herself, but her new position quickly becomes a surreal challenge when she discovers that Mrs. Kano's baby daughter PePe possesses psychic powers that animate toys and animals in impossible ways. While the oblivious parents remain unaware of the chaos, Mon-Mon struggles to manage her responsibilities alongside PePe's supernatural antics. Sweet-natured but hopelessly out of her depth, Mon-Mon considers quitting and returning home. However, PePe has grown attached to her and uses her powers to ensure Mon-Mon stays, turning the au pair role into an unpredictable battle of wits between a determined girl and a gifted, mischievous child.
