Die Wochenshow(1996)

Die Wochenshow is a German weekly sketch comedy series that aired on Sat.1 from 1996 to 2002, produced by Brainpool TV. The show launched on 20 April 1996 with sharp, topical humor delivered through fast-paced sketches. After a nine-year hiatus, the series returned with eight new episodes beginning 20 May 2011. Known for its satirical take on current events and pop culture, Die Wochenshow became a fixture of German television comedy during its original run.
