Zorro is a swashbuckling adventure series set in 1821 Los Angeles. Twenty years after hanging up his cape, Don Diego de la Vega has settled into respectability as the town's new mayor, married to Doña Gabriella. When corruption and injustice threaten his community, Diego realizes some wrongs demand the return of his masked alter ego. With the loyal support of his mute manservant Bernardo, he resurrects Zorro to fight tyranny and protect the innocent. The series balances Diego's dual life as a gentleman of standing and a daring nocturnal vigilante, blending romance, action, and social commentary in colonial California.
