Rope a Dope(2022)

Rope a Dope follows Ouyang Jun, a Hong Kong professional boxer at the peak of his career, as he pursues his dream of becoming an Asian champion. Driven by an unshakeable work ethic and quiet determination, Jun found refuge in Lu Jian's King Boxing gym years ago when his brother fled to escape debt. The gym became his second home, where he formed lasting bonds with trainer Li Chengdong and Jiang Xiuxian, a girl from the local laundry. When veteran boxer Yuan Tianjiu unexpectedly retires, Jun sees his chance to honor the gym and cement his legacy. Balancing ambition with loyalty to those who believed in him, Jun must overcome both fierce competition and personal doubts to claim his place among Asia's elite fighters.
