More Than Likes is a Japanese series about Futawata Shinori, a seemingly invisible student secretly dating popular Suga Misaki. Unknown to everyone, she runs the viral social media account "Shirousa." After an argument with Misaki, Shinori wishes her online life were real—and wakes to find herself trapped in a parallel world. Here, social media followers determine school hierarchy, making Shinori suddenly popular while Misaki vanishes from existence. As Shinori navigates this inverted reality where her digital persona matters more than her true self, she must find a way back to the real world and Misaki. The series explores the gap between online and offline identities, asking what happens when virtual validation becomes tangible.
