Alice on the Run(1998)

Alice on the Run is a thriller series following Alice Mancini, a young German woman married to Italian ambassador Mario Mancini in Berlin. Her world upends when Mario's younger brother Vittorio—thought dead for years—suddenly reappears and makes cryptic allusions to the suicide of Mario's first wife, Alma, a decade earlier. Driven by suspicion, Alice begins investigating, but her husband and his family refuse to answer her questions. As she persists, she stumbles into a dangerous conspiracy. Accused of murder and with no one to trust, Alice is forced to flee, caught in a web of secrets and lies that threatens everything she thought she knew about her marriage and her new family.
