Headland is an Australian drama series set in a university that aired on Seven Network from November 2005 to January 2006. The show ran for 52 episodes across its single season before the network cancelled it, despite production already underway on a second series. Headland premiered on Australian television on Tuesday, 15 November 2005 at 7:30pm. The series found a second life in the United Kingdom, initially airing on E4 as reformatted half-hour episodes on weekdays, before E4 dropped the show. Channel 4 later picked up the original hour-long format, broadcasting episodes at 12:30pm. Though short-lived, Headland captured the drama and tension of university life during its brief run.
