Love and Hate(2007)

Love and Hate is a Serbian drama series centered on the wealthy Lazarevic family of Belgrade, struggling to move past the death of their matriarch. When patriarch Bogdan remarries the temperamental Kaća, tensions escalate within the household. Kaća proves morally questionable and deliberately sows discord among family members, all while concealing dark secrets from her past. Deeply insecure about her peasant origins, she manipulates those around her to escape her humble background. As hidden truths emerge and old wounds resurface, the family fractures under the weight of grief, resentment, and betrayal. The series explores how one woman's arrival can unravel the fragile bonds holding a dynasty together.
