Sex, Chips & Rock n' Roll is a British comedy series set in 1960s Manchester, following sisters Ellie and Arden Brooks as they work behind the counter of their family chip shop. Trapped under the iron fist of their strict grandmother, the pair live sexually repressed, joyless lives while the swinging sixties transform the world around them. As the cultural revolution of 1965 gains momentum, the sisters find themselves caught between their grandmother's old-world values and the liberating spirit of the era.
