Sengoku Youko is an anime series set in a war-torn era where humans and katawara—supernatural creatures—clash violently. Two unlikely siblings stand apart: Tama, a fox spirit who cherishes humanity, and Jinka, her sendou brother who despises humans. Despite their opposing views, they unite to harness spirit transformation powers and hunt down dangerous katawara threatening the land. As they journey through this chaotic age, their bond is tested by conflicting ideals and mounting threats. The series explores whether their partnership can survive their fundamental differences, and what fate awaits them as they fight to restore peace to a fractured world.
