Mushers: Conquering the Yukon Quest is a documentary series that follows seven dog teams competing in the Yukon Quest, one of the world's most brutal sled dog races. Spanning 1,000 miles from Whitehorse, Yukon to Fairbanks, Alaska, the race demands extreme endurance across treacherous terrain. Competitors face four mountain summits, glaciers, swollen rivers and lakes, encounters with wildlife, and temperatures plummeting below minus 50 degrees Celsius. With only six hours of daylight during much of the race, the physical and mental toll is immense.
