Shadowboxing(2006)

Shadowboxing is a sports drama series following Artyom Kolchin, a professional boxer preparing for a crucial bout against American rival Palmer. During his pre-fight medical examination, Artyom meets Vika, a nurse, and the two develop an immediate attraction. When Victoria discovers a serious vision problem during the eye test, Artyom convinces her to conceal the issue from the doctor so he can secure clearance to compete. The series explores the tension between ambition and integrity as Artyom risks his health and career for one more shot at glory, while his budding relationship with Vika becomes entangled in his dangerous decision.
