Tussen Leven en Dood is a documentary series that gives voice to survivors of life-altering trauma. Hosted by Kürt Rogiers, each episode reconstructs a near-fatal moment and explores how those who faced death rebuilt their lives. The series follows Marina, who survived a random acid attack at a supermarket; Elke, who fell from a Ferris wheel; and Dries, who was caught in a cyclone while lost on vacation. Through intimate interviews and vivid storytelling, Tussen Leven en Dood examines the psychological and physical aftermath of catastrophe, asking how ordinary people find resilience in their darkest hours. These are accounts of survival against impossible odds, told by those who lived to tell them.
